This week I wanted to brag a little bit about Debbie. When asked about the accomplishments she was most excited about Debbie had this to say:
“Mostly the strength and endurance that I’ve gained. I’m able to do a lot of things I wasn’t able to do before. Also the people at Forge have helped me to become more comfortable and confident in my own skin instead of being so self critical.”
She glosses over her accomplishments very casually because she’s so focused on the goals yet to be met but that doesn’t make them any less significant. Aside from seeing big increases in key movements like deadlift and squat, Debbie also worked her way up from only being able to jog a short distance to running her first 5k without stopping. She even took part in a half marathon! Finally, with hard work and laser like focus Debbie managed to lose 25 pounds of unwanted weight. So proud of this lady and so excited to see her smash new goals.
